The manipulator mounted Diamond Wire Saw is a lightweight easy deployed cutting tool. The tool is designed for mounting onto a Rigmaster manipulator using the wrist bolts for quick installation. This also means the tool can be stowed when not in use.
During cutting operations, the Jaws are used to secure the ROV to the cut and once secure the motor starts by spinning the diamond wire before actuating a hydraulic cylinder which pushes the diamond wire through the cut.
An independent set of jaws can be installed if the manip mount isn’t an option.
